Özet

Koronal sütürün erken kemikleşmesi tek taraflı olduğunda ön plagiosefali, iki taraflı olduğunda kısa ve geniş kafa biçimi oluşturur. BT, sütür hattındaki kemik köprüsünü ve buna eşlik eden frontal, orbital ve sfenoid şekil değişikliğini birlikte göstererek tanıyı ve tutulum haritasını netleştirir. Bebeklerde iyonizan radyasyon riski nedeniyle BT, yalnızca gerekli klinik soruları yanıtlamak için ve düşük doz protokolü uygulanarak kullanılır; sütürlerin değerlendirilmesinde yaşa bağlı normal kapanma dönemleri referans alınır. Çoklu sütür tutulumu genellikle sendromiktir ve ek yapısal ve işlevsel komplikasyonlarla birliktedir.

Kontrastsız tanısal
İnce kesitli kemik penceresinde frontal-parietal sınırdaki koronal sütürün kesintisiz kemikleşmesi, sütür çizgisinin silinmesi veya kemik köprüsü; tek taraflı olguda aynı tarafta sığ ön kraniyal fossa ve yükselmiş orbital çatı seçilir. İyotlu kontrast tanı için gerekli değildir.

Normalde

Aynı yaş grubundaki normal ince kesitli kemik BT'de koronal sütür frontal ve parietal kemikler arasında ince, kıvrımlı ve radyolüsent bir çizgi olarak izlenir; bebeklik döneminde açıklık ve serrasyonlar beklenir. Sağ ve sol orbital çatıların yüksekliğini, ön kraniyal fossaların derinliğini ve frontal kemik konturunu karşılaştır; tek taraflı sinostoz bu simetriyi bozar.

Normal BT ile kıyasla

Aynı bölgenin, kaynak veri setinde patoloji içermediği belirtilen bir BT incelemesini kesit kesit kaydırın; organ sınırlarını açarak anatomiyi hasta görüntüsüyle karşılaştırın. Küçük rastlantısal bulgular tümüyle dışlanmamıştır.
