Özet
Pulmoner mukormikoz özellikle hematolojik malignite ve solid organ nakli olan hastalarda görülür; nötropeni de mukormikoz için önemli bir risk faktörüdür, kontrolsüz diyabet ve ketoasidoz da riski artırır ve daha çok rino-orbito-serebral formla ilişkilidir. İnce kesit toraks BT erken parankimal odağı, dağılımı ve zaman içindeki kavitasyonu göstererek klinik şüpheyi güçlendirir; ters halo işareti uygun konak bağlamında özellikle dikkat çekicidir, ancak tek başına etkeni kanıtlamaz. Damar lümeninde lezyon kenarında kesilme ya da tıkanma, invaziv küf enfeksiyonunu destekler ve seçilmiş olguda BT pulmoner anjiyografiyle incelenebilir. Bulguların atlanması hızla ilerleyen enfeksiyonun ve damar/komşu yapı invazyonunun tanınmasını geciktirebilir.

Normalde
Normal akciğer parankiminde segmental damarlar hilustan periferde incelerek dallanır; plevral yüzey boyunca nodül, ters halo oluşturan opasite veya kama biçimli yoğunlaşma bulunmaz. Aynı seviyedeki karşı akciğer segmentinde damarların lezyon sınırında kesintisiz izlenmesini, plevraya uzanan yoğunluk farkı olmamasını ve bronş lümenlerinin açık kalmasını kıyasla.
Normal BT ile kıyasla
Aynı bölgenin, kaynak veri setinde patoloji içermediği belirtilen bir BT incelemesini kesit kesit kaydırın; organ sınırlarını açarak anatomiyi hasta görüntüsüyle karşılaştırın. Küçük rastlantısal bulgular tümüyle dışlanmamıştır.
