Özet

Bu seride proksimal humerus kırık hatları çoğunlukla cerrahi boyun çevresindeki metafiz bölgesinde görülmüş, en geniş dağılım büyük tüberkülün altında izlenmiştir; yaşlılarda bu kırıkların çoğu ayakta durma yüksekliğinden düşmeyle oluşur. Kontrastsız BT, proksimal humerus kırıklarında baş-şaft yer değiştirmelerini, kırık hattının segmentlere uzanımını ve kırığın karakterini radyografilere göre daha net ortaya koyar. Varus yer değiştirmeli proksimal humerus kırıklarında baştaki kemik boşluğu nötr açılanmış kırıklara göre daha belirgin olabilir; medial kalkar desteğinin kaybı yeterli mekanik stabilite sağlamayı güçleştirebilir ve humerus başı ile tüberküller arasındaki devamlılık kırık morfolojisinin sınıflandırılmasında dikkate alınır.
