Abdominal perkütan drenler apse, biloma veya postoperatif koleksiyonu boşaltmak üzere yerleştirilir; ucun koleksiyona girmemesi ya da yan deliklerin dışarıda kalması drenajı etkisizleştirir. BT, kateterin cilt girişinden hedefe kadar olan yolunu, bağırsak ve solid organlarla temasını ve koleksiyonun devam edip etmediğini gösterir. Kontrastlı görüntüler damar, bağırsak duvarı ve apse çevresini değerlendirmeyi kolaylaştırırken kateter seyri kontrastsız görüntülerde de izlenebilir. Bağırsak veya damar yaralanması, fistül ve kontrolsüz enfeksiyon tanınmazsa sepsis ya da kanama gelişebilir.

- Portal tanısal
- Kateter yolunun bağırsak, solid organ ve damarlarla ilişkisi; koleksiyon duvarı kontrastlanması, çevresel inflamasyon, parankim hasarı ve olası fistül değerlendirilir.
Önerilen pencereler: Batın (G 400 / M 50), Yumuşak doku (G 400 / M 40).
BT bulguları
- Kateter ucunun veya yan deliklerin hedef kaviteden uzaklaşması (dislodgement/migrasyon), etkili drenajın sağlanamamasına ve kateter çevresinde istenmeyen sıvı birikimine neden olur.
- Bir veya daha fazla yan deliğin koleksiyon duvarı dışında, periton ya da cilt altı traktında kalması sızıntı ve yetersiz drenajı açıklar.
- Kateterin ince bağırsak/kolon lümeninde sonlanması veya lümene girip tekrar çıkması, kontrastlı lümen ve kateter seyrinin ardışık kesitlerde birlikte izlenmesiyle değerlendirilir.
- Karaciğer, dalak veya böbrek parankiminden geçen dren yolu boyunca hematom, subkapsüler kanama ya da çevre dokuda kontrastlanma görülebilir.
- Dren doğru yerde görünse bile hedef koleksiyonun hacminin sürmesi ya da büyümesi; tıkanma, lokülasyon veya tedavi edilmemiş ikinci kaviteyi düşündürür.
- Kateter çevresinde serbest hava veya kontrastlı bağırsak içeriğinin koleksiyona geçişi enterik fistül/iletişim olasılığını artırır.
- Kateter etrafında yeni serbest sıvı birikimi ve çevre dokuda inflamasyon bulguları, perikater sıvı kaçağını veya enfeksiyonun yayıldığını düşündürür.
Normalde
Normalde kateterin kıvrımlı ucu ve drenaj delikleri hedeflenen sıvı kavitesi içinde bulunur; periton boşluğunda yeni serbest sıvı veya kateterin geçtiği organda yaralanma olmaz. Aynı düzeyde kavitenin sınırını kateter halkasıyla karşılaştır, bağırsak duvarlarının kesintisiz seyrini ve kateter giriş traktındaki karaciğer/dalak/böbrek konturunu kontrol et.
Normal BT ile kıyasla
Aynı bölgenin, kaynak veri setinde patoloji içermediği belirtilen bir BT incelemesini kesit kesit kaydırın; organ sınırlarını açarak anatomiyi hasta görüntüsüyle karşılaştırın. Küçük rastlantısal bulgular tümüyle dışlanmamıştır.

- Koleksiyon içinde gaz, yakın zamanda drenaj yapılmışsa işlem havası olabilir; yeni artan gazı, bağırsak iletişimini ve duvar inflamasyonunu birlikte değerlendir.
- Solid organ içinden geçen kateter, kısa ve kontrollü transhepatik erişim yolu olabilir; yaralanma tanısı için parankim dışına taşma, kanama veya organ kontur bozukluğu ara.
